First post ........

Well this is the first post of (I hope) many to try and keep those who are in the know up to date with my two wheeled adventures as I attempt to turn myself into a sometime very keen cyclist into a always very keen (and riding) cyclist. Stay tuned for further updates ............

Hey Kev,

I took the new titanium bike for a 90km spin in the weekend. It's lighter than the current carbon but i don't think it is as light as Hamsters or Gregs.

Keep spinning.

BT, good work, helium is heavier than Hamsters ride but as we all know its all about the legs (thats legs not lugs)! Or at least that's my story and I am sticking to it. At least now you have the lightest spare bike - not sure anyone else has a carbon 'spare'. How did the new bike ride? Happy with it? What wheels did you settle on?

Hi Kev,

what a good piece of luck to be able to have a beer with Hamster en route to the the USA.

The Ti rides like a dream but as you correctly point out it's all about the legs so the jury is still out on my climbing ability. i ended up with the campag shamal in the titanium colour (can you see a theme here they are light, stiff and roll nicely. So far no complaints.
